We are moving to a new and permanent home! 2018-10-12T17:50:08+00:00

Rainbow Playschool is under contract to purchase 281 North Barnard Road, what used to be known as the old Mt. Tom School and the first ski hill in the Northeast!  This new location will allow us the square footage to double our enrollments for both our 18 month – 2 year old classroom and our 2 – 3 year old classrooms.  We also are launching our first 6 weeks – 18 month infant care program!

To ensure our financial sustainability in this 7000 sq ft home, we are diversifying income streams beyond our tuition revenue. The two bedroom residential portion will continue to be rented as such.  We have 3 office spaces for rent on the 2nd& 3rdfloors, all inclusive with high speed internet.  We also have a community room that can be rented by the hour on nights and weekends.  Please see the 2nd and 3rd floors of the ground plans!

We have begun submitting an ambitious number of grants, donor asks and in kind donations to bring our building up to commercial code and create a more magical aesthetic for our young ones to thrive. We are looking for in kind donations for lumber and building materials, lighting, playground equipment, fencing and lots of flooring!

Tuition keeps our school thriving, but we need more support to make Rainbow bigger and better.  Please consider making a tax deductible donation today by means of the PayPal below or by mailing a donation to:

A tax deduction receipt will be mailed to you as well as a thank you for your donation!

Solar Partnership:

Rainbow Playschool has partnered with Sundeavor and the Energy Committee to launch a Community Solar Project on our parking lot carports and hillside.  We will have 100kW of solar available for purchase for your home or business (room for approximately 17 homes).  If your location isn’t appropriate for roof mounted solar, please consider buying into our community array!  Email me directly at tesha@goodcommons.com with your interest and I will follow up with a meeting time to learn more details!

We plan to close on the new property on October 29th and to begin demolition on November 10/11, 2018.  If you are a parent or are interested in helping remove what we don’t need at Rainbow, reach out to tesha@goodcommons.com to join our demo weekend!

Thank you!  Here’s to a brighter future for our little ones!
