Finding a Home for Rainbow
As you may already know, Rainbow Playschool has been working for the past four months to find a permanent home. This is an involved and ongoing process, but there are several viable options at this time that we are researching; however, at the end of December 2011, it became clear that Rainbow would need to find a new temporary site. Rainbow, with the help of several community members, found a new temporary home at St. James Episcopal Church in Woodstock.  We hope to remain in this space for at least the next six months.  All Rainbow children and teachers are now meeting at St. James Church.

Many thanks to St. James Epsicopal Church, the Vestry and Reverend Norman MacLeod for accommodating a short timeline and our precious little ones.

Thank you again to Allison and Charles Taylor and to Purple Crayon's Executive Director, Kathleen Dolan, and Director, Tayo Skarrow, for providing the sunshine after the storm. You helped us create a beautiful Rainbow in spite of Irene's fierce effects.

Rainbow's Board of Directors continues to search for a permanent solution. If you are looking to get involved, please contact us with your ideas and feel free to share your talents.
